Do I need to have art background?

No, some of our best facilitators and teachers have absolutely no art background.

Which class should I take first?

For teachers, social workers, and other facilitators who work with individuals, classes, or in small settings, Draw All You Can offers many advantages. It is easy to set up, portable, and has a lower material cost. Because of the figurative nature of the artworks, it can also be used for storytelling and has tie-ins to other academic subjects.

If you organize events for larger groups or you mostly host fun, hands-on, team-building events, Circle Painting offers participants an engaging process that produces colorful, large-scale artworks that are immediately display worthy.

What should I take after a Lv 1 class?

If you are taking the Level 1 class for personal reasons or if you plan to use the methods in a small, consistent setting (example, classroom or family therapy), taking both the CP and DAYC Level 1 classes give your two different methods that you can use to produce new and different results.

If you would like to use the methods for special populations (example: seniors, children with special needs, etc.) or you would like to host large groups, community projects, or create murals, the Level 2 classes cover these scenarios in depth.

Can I retake a class?

For online courses, your access to them never expires. For in-person classes, you can retake the same class 1 more time with the same teacher when it becomes available again. Just make sure you email us the class date and proof of your certificate so we can add you.

What art supplies will I need?

For Circle Painting, you will need: tempera paints, some brushes, a piece of roofing paper, 2 paper plates. For Draw All You Can, just need 1 or 2 permanent black markers (color ones are optional) and drawing papers.
